With new design blood, courtesy of Umit Benan, Trussardi is looking to start a new design chapter for the brand's next one hundred years (2011 marked their centennial). What Benan brings to the table, very much on display at the brand's Spring show, is a playful approach to menswear but one that is ultimately grounded in the hallmarks of classic men's design. Racing legend Jackie Stewart serves as the inspiration for the Fall collection, chosen for his passion and style both on and off the racetrack. Says Benan of what we can expect, "Every item and outfit expresses self-confidence, timeless elegance, and the dynamism of classy sportswear, which are all found in the active soul of Trussardi and its quest for excellence."
